Working Effectively with Interpreters

As a Cultural Orientation provider, you’ll be working with refugees who have limited English language skills. That’s why well-trained interpreters play such an important role in the Cultural Orientation experience. This course explains the roles and responsibilities of the Cultural Orientation provider and the interpreter. You’ll be able to identify the steps required to ensure interpreters are well-prepared for class and utilized appropriately during instruction.
