Supporting Your Child in School Lesson Plan
Refugee parents with children in school should also be aware that in the United States, parents are expected to be involved in their children’s education. Refugee resettlement staff can use this lesson plan to enhance their Cultural Orientation curriculum on the topic.
After this lesson, refugees will better understand their rights and responsibilities that pertain to engagement in their child’s education in the United States.
