Online Courses

A cultural orientation trainer teaching refugees

Online Courses

CORE’s Online Courses are interactive, self-paced courses, designed for resettlement staff and volunteers that implement and deliver Cultural Orientation. Learners may take courses at any time and in any order. All courses are free and can be accessed at any time.

Courses are designed to establish foundational knowledge of the United States Refugee Admissions Program and help you improve your lesson delivery to adult learners. Each course takes approximately 20 to 40 minutes to complete. You can begin a course and return to it at a later time.

CORE recently updated its online courses to a new platform to enhance user experience and accessibility. As part of this update, some user data was reset during the migration process. Existing users will need to login to the new system, update their password, and provide any additional demographic information as needed before accessing their course content and/or certificates. New users can register for the online courses using the “New User? Register” button below, selecting “Sign Up” at the top right corner of the page, and entering your credentials. If there is any difficulty accessing the platform, or if you see that your course progress has changed, please contact CORE at coresourceexchange@rescue.org
