In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, CORE is creating resources and compiling content produced by others to help you provide accurate, translated information to refugees as quickly as possible.

1. Fact sheet and podcast: “Resettling to the United States during the COVID-19 Pandemic”
CORE created a new fact sheet and podcast to help refugees understand how they may be interacting with their resettlement agency during the pandemic. The resources outline their responsibilities to stay informed and plan ahead.
The new resources are available on the CORE Resettlement Navigator:

2. Fact sheet and podcast: “COVID-19: Understanding Guidance and Rules”
CORE created an additional new fact sheet and podcast to help refugees recognize how the coronavirus spreads, typical symptoms, and the terms used by health officials (isolation, quarantine, social distancing, and shelter in place.)

3. Additional COVID-19 animated video translations
CORE’s COVID-19 video is now translated into the following additional languages: Amharic, Farsi, French, Nepali, Somali, Tigrinya, and Ukrainian. You can find all versions in a YouTube playlist.
4. Settle In COVID-19 update
To help refugees access more COVID-19 information in their languages, the latest update to the Settle In mobile app includes a button on the main screen directing users to the CORE Resettlement Navigator site for refugee-facing COVID-19 information.
5. COVID-19 Resources for Providers
English language COVID-19 resources to support Cultural Orientation providers and other staff can be found on the CORE website. CORE will continue to update COVID-19 pages with new resources, so be sure to return to our websites regularly. Below are a couple of items for your consideration:
